My heartiest thanks to all the past Presidents and the members of WICMA, for unanimously electing me as President of our fine association on 40th annual general meeting held on 11th August, 2007.

I have golden opportunity to serve our esteem association which has already embarked upon several achievements in the last 39 years. The credit goes to all the Past Presidents and other senior members who have nurtured our association.

Our R&D Centre has been well recognized in the industrial circle providing opportunities for the development of the new projects. Our association is also carrying out educational courses at regular intervals providing opportunities to members, suppliers, consumers and other connected with our industry.

Our past Presidents and committee members have made continuous liaison with Government & Semi Government bodies from time to time on various issues.

Friends, continuing the tradition of our association and looking to the developing industrial scenario now we have several challenges ahead and I look forward the support of each and every member to achieve one more milestone, which will enhance the image of our association.

Friends, I have great pleasure in presenting our most focused area during the current year. This will help you to plan your program and extend your support for growth of our association to meet the global challenges.

1. R&D centre: We propose to upgrade the R&D centre with the additional facilities providing new equipments. This will facilitate the industries. The members will feel proud in recommending our R&D centre to their clients which will enhance their image as well as image of our association.

2. Technical as well as management seminars will be organized once in two months as it is the need of the hour in today’s globalization scenario and to compete in the world market. The first program is organized on 22nd September, 2007, the detail circular is attached. DO NOT MISS THE GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY.

3. Certificate course is continued which will be held twice a year. The course will be given suitable title which will be inspiring for all the participants.

4. Membership is the key of success for every association. I have targeted min. 20% growth in membership it will be great pleasure for me to honor who will introduce min. 5 members during the year at appropriate function.

5. Our association will be active as and when opportunity will arise for National & international exhibitions held in our area which will help the members for the exposure of the latest technology at the most competitive price.

It will be the prime responsibility of every member to participate and avail the benefit of the FCBM conference which is scheduled on 6th, 7th, 8th, December 2007 at Varanasi, as our Federation of Corrugated Box Manufacturers of India is headed by our own WICMA member Shri. Kirit Doshi.
